Some links in our guides may earn Giftlify a small commission when you buy through them. You pay the same price either way. Here is exactly how that works, and what it does not change.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link carries a code that tells the shop which site sent you. If you buy something within the shop's time window, the shop pays us a share of the sale. The price you pay does not change, and nothing about you is shared with us beyond the fact that a sale happened.
Where we are today
At the moment none of our links are affiliate links. Product links go straight to the brand or shop with no tracking code. When that changes, this page and every affected article will say so first.
How you can tell
Any article that contains an affiliate link says so at the top, before the first link, not in a footnote. Affiliate links are also marked in the page code as sponsored, which is how search engines are told about them.
What it does not change
Commission never decides what goes into a guide. We choose ideas for the person you are buying for first, and many of our suggestions are things no shop can sell you — a plan, a favour, a letter. A product earns its place by being a good answer, whether or not a link to it pays us anything. Our full approach is in how we choose gift ideas.
Prices
Where we show a price from a brand's own shop, it is the price we saw on the date printed beside it. Prices change; always check the final amount at checkout.
